Tadah Sajin Nira (3)
by : Eka Sutha | series: Paste Stick
year: 2020 | style: Contemporary | dimension: 130x150 cm

These days we are faced with a pandemic that forces people to stop and stay away from the outside world for a while. In ancient Javanese, Tadah Sajin Nira has a literal meaning of "eat what you are offered with". And in this painting, I put Rangda as the prime object with neo-primitive style like Michael Basquiat's. Rangda itself simbolizes this world's guardian that is immaterial. And with that being said, as us humans are trying to do what we can do on our part, we should also let the universe work as it should to heal what must be.
