Sastia Naresvari is an abstract expressionism artist based in Bali, who has been drawing and painting since she was 4 years old. To her, painting is a medium she feels most connected to in this three-dimensional world. Apart from painting, she owns a clothing line called Di Balik Layar Indonesia, which she co-founded with her best friends.
Sastia is interested in translating abstract things such as energy, time, life, love, unlimited space, feelings, emotions, perceptions—even the concept of God. As an artist, she is very meditative and spends her time teaching meditation. Her process in painting begins with contemplating, meditating, writing, taking black and white pictures, and asking questions to herself.
